WEEKEND WORKSHOP: Moved to Abstraction with Mike Gold
WHEN: October 5-6, 2019 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm both days
WHERE: Newspring Art Studio, 8945 Long Point, Houston, Texas 77055
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: This workshop will feature exercises that will bring out the artist in you. We will look at some of the principles and ideas that guided Picasso, the Abstract Expressionists and others in creating contemporary calligraphic art. Collage was key to both Picasso and Braque in developing their work and modernist visual vocabulary, and we will use it here, too. Various other media and tools will also be explored.
COST: $165 plus $10 supply fee payable to Instructor
