HCG Annual Scholarship Form

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
To apply and be selected for the Annual Guild Scholarship, the following requirements must be met:

Membership in the Houston Calligraphy Guild for 2 or more years
No HCG scholarship award for 4 or more years
Submission of details for proposed In-person or Online seminar, workshop, class, or continuing education program that involves calligraphy.
Presentation of a program to Guild members as an Early Bird or Meeting Program on what they have learned within the year following the award. Otherwise, recipient will be required to return the award funds to the Guild.

COMPLETING THE APPLICATION:

Please list in priority order, the details of the three classes that you are considering taking with this award so that the Vice President can schedule the required follow-on program within the year.

PLEASE NOTE:

The scholarship is a Reimbursement Scholarship with an award of up to $200. The actual amount reimbursed will be based on the submitted receipts for tuition only - not for supplies or travel.
