2024 HCG Annual Scholarship Form

2024 LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP:
The Board has announced three reimbursement scholarship awards for Guild members at the May 11, 2024 meeting:

One Scholarship for up to $300 to help cover tuition and travel costs for a Conference.
Two Scholarships for up to $200 for an in-person or digital class/workshop for tuition only.

The actual amount reimbursed will be based on the receipts submitted to the Membership Chair in required timeframe.

SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

A Member of the Houston Calligraphy Guild for 2 or more years and have not received a scholarship within the last 4 years.
Scholarship recipient will present what they have learned at a Meeting Program in the fiscal year following the award. If the required presentation is not made within the time frame noted, the scholarship will be voided (see Scholarship Information document in the March and April Blasts for particulars.

COMPLETING THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:
Please submit only one application.
Please list in priority order, the details of the three classes that you are considering taking with this award. The Vice President will schedule the required follow-up Meeting Program with you in the upcoming year.
